The wonderfully talented and beautiful Natalie Portman turns 35 today and I want to wish her a happy birthday. There is something about Natalie Portman that is hard to not like; she just has a lot of charisma and a hell of a lot of talent. Bursting onto the scene at the age of 12 with her role in Leon, Portman showcased a startling maturity. This depth has translated well to her later roles and is one of the reasons I love her so much as an actress. She really gets into the character and can say so much without the use of dialogue, her dark eyes can convey more than many can in a long monologue. She has truly grown before our eyes into a fully-fledged star, who chooses her films wisely and is always up for a challenge or two. With Natalie Portman, I just know she will deliver a fine performance and looking through her credits she most certainly does. What an amazing actress she truly is!

Nice post bro. Happy Birthday Natalia Portman my personal dopple ganger!!!! (I WISH)
She’s in one of my favourite ever movies – Black Swan. Very pretty, refined, talented and cool lady.
P.S Happy Birthday to Michael J. Fox as well 🙂 I will always love him for bringing such joy to my life with BTTF!

She still looks so young too! M.J. Fox is in ‘The Good Wife’ on TV. he looks really unwell, but still has the old sparkle at times.
Cheers, Pete.

She has a very youthful appearance. As for Fox, it’s so sad he got Parkinson’s so young.

Those eyes!! Have you seen her in “The Other Woman” based on a novel by Ayelet Waldman? Great domestic drama, well-acted and scenic location.

It’s Po’tman mothafucka!!!! I haven’t been fond lately with some of her recent films post-Black Swan with the exception of sorts of the Thor films while I have very little interest in Jane Got a Gun as I think she just needs to make better choices and not use her clout to try and get this person on board to direct her because there’s a lot of bullshit in the industry. She just needs to act and show the likes of J-Law how it’s done. Plus, I still wonder what would’ve happened if she did go nude in Closer as I saw that film as a birthday present when it came out. I probably would’ve been arrested for pulling a Pee-wee Herman if she did go fully nude.

I’m sure she’ll star in some quality movies in the future. She’s that good of an actress it’s only a matter of time.

There could be any number of reasons. The way I see it, we can’t all like everyone. It’s just not how we are all built.

She was at the height of her powers in Black Swan. I remember watching Winona Ryder in it who only 9 years older at 39 in that film, I mused that Ryder had been in a similar position in the 90s and then for no good reason in terms of her talent her career went a certain way. You couldn’t imagine Portman following a similar trajectory but in the past 5 years what has happened. Makes me mad, Ryder and Portman are really good actresses. Get your shit together Hollywood!

Leon was outstanding and considering how young she was at the time, she showed how talented she was.
