Do you guys ever come across a song that seems to be ubiquitous and very catchy? I recently had this with the song ‘Fire’ by Barns Courtney. It appeared on an advert for something that I saw and ever since it has remained in my head. See what you make of the song.
He reminds me a bit of George Ezra. I hadn’t heard it before, but I can see why you like it. Good catchy beat, and husky vocals too.
Cheers, Pete.

You know I originally thought this was George Ezra. That beat is extremely infectious.

George Ezra is definitely the “catchy song” artist for me. I still can’t change the station when Budapest comes on. It used to play in the store where I worked and even if I was waiting on a customer I still had to sing along. Shocked I never got a talking-to for that :p

Haha, I like that story. That’s the power of a good song.

I think I prefer this one to ‘Budapest’. The yodelling grated on me!
Cheers, Pete.

I just gave a brief listen and can see why you don’t like it.

Brief is all you need mate. Believe it or not, he sold countless records, and even had his own TV show!

Had never heard this song but somehow his voice sounds vaguely familiar. Pretty cool tune!

UGH…. Sorry but acoustic guitars and poor attempts to sound bluesy doesn’t do it for me.
