Sexiness has always been a part of my blog from the movies I cover to the saucy photo posts. One thing I do enjoy doing is making playlists, and today I submit my playlist of songs for the bedroom and getting physical. I hope you all enjoy this sexy playlist. And I must thank Human Interest for giving me the idea for this post after a discussion.
Bon Iver…I Cant make you love you to get her emotional before hand?

Etta James and Marvin my favourite….next time I feel.in the mood I’ll throw one of them on!

Both excellent choices to set a sexy mood.

A fascinating topic, indeed. I can think of several tunes quite salacious towards complimentary topographies. Most of Enigma, Ravel’s Bolero, and some Cirque du Soleil (but one should stretch first)
It’s a curious question to ask your partner de jour what sort of music turns him/her on.
Walt Disney tunes are contraindicated.

I’ve heard bits of Enigma’s music and it is definitely sensual to listen to.

I use trip hop by artists like Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, and Hooverphonic to get ladies in the mood. But this is till a great list of some sexy sexy tunes. I remember once making out with a girl to Marilyn Manson’s cover of I Put a Spell on You at a dance club and I never saw her again after that.

Portishead is perfect for setting a sexy ambience, so darkly seductive. Interesting story about the Marilyn Manson cover.

Nice choices Vinnie! I haven’t seen/listened to the Etta James video or the one by D’Angelo so I’ll definitely be checking those out. I still think no sexy playlist is complete without Jared Leto and 30 Seconds To Mars.🙋🏻

Both are very sexy songs Kim. And good call on Jared Leto.

Cool list V-man, especially like Etta James & Nina Simone. I would add Feel Like Makin’Love by Bad Company, and the same title but different song Feel Like Makin’ Love by Roberta Flack.

Interesting that both songs have the same name but are totally different.

And both great in their own way. Thanks V-man.

I like ambient/trance grooves, especially Enigma…no lyrics at all if possible. Trip hop can be nice or maybe smooth jazz. Gets me relaxed and receptive for the big event 😉

Ambience is key I find. And smooth jazz can be be the perfect backdrop.

I have some songs that should be in the list:
Anything from the Comic Strip best-of album by Serge Gainsbourg
The live version of “Since I’ve Been Loving You” from How the West Was Won by Led Zeppelin
This Mortal Coil’s cover of Tim Buckley’s “Song to the Siren”
“Anytime Anyplace” by Janet Jackson (she will always be #1)
David Bowie & Giorgio Moroder’s “Cat People”
& Dean & Britta’s “Out Walking” or anything from the L’Avventura album which is one of my all-time favorite records.

Cat People, that’s one sexy track and perfect for getting the right mood.

Will have to think about this but ‘softly whispering I love you’ by Paul Young and ‘The Great Gig in the Sky’ from Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ amongst other. Actually the entire ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ LP would be great but then again I’m a bit nuts so bear with me here. 😊

Yes! Yes to all of these. But if I may pick a favourite from your list, it’s Marvin Gaye.
Also worth mentioning, because it’s so good, is Jack Black’s cover of Let’s Get it On from the High Fidelity soundtrack.
Great list. Here’s my own personal sexiness song.

All great songs. I won’t reveal if anything is paid when the moment arises but certainly my favourite songs are Marin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On (God Bless you Marvin) and Etta James’s “I Want to Make Love to You” although all I do now is remember these Diet Coke ads that featured the song. Marvin Gaye what a legend. Surprised Barry White or Frank Sinatra didn’t feature. Some of those old Sinatra songs are basically the closest music comes to embodying hard ons metaphorically and spiritually. And Barry White well it Barry White. You know what I’m sayin man.

I love that song by Etta James. And I really am a big fan of Sinatra, he’s the best. As for Barry White, his music was invented for sex.
