I am always looking to expand my musical horizons, and as of late I’ve been doing just that. Here’s some songs below that have made an impression on me.
You had me on “Love is a Stranger” which is one of my favorite songs by the Eurythmics. I just love those synthesizer melodies and that part… “and love, love, love is a dangerous drug”.
I haven’t really listened to a lot of things as I’m taking a break from listening Prince’s entire body of work which is quite massive as I’m about to go into Musicology and then go for the rest of his studio work and then the live albums and the side projects that he did. The only thing I’ve been kinda obsessed about is the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds which recently turned 50. And here’s something I just learned. The day the album came out was also the same day Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde came out. Shit, 2 classic albums that still stand the test of time came out on the same day.
Nice mix mate!
One of my friends is obsessed with Lana, she always has her music on whenever she is driving any of us anywhere, so I’ve learned to like her music. 🙂
The serie is, or to me seems, great. Unfortunately, it is American language from south I believe and there fore too difficult for me to understand everything. And I refuse to see it synchronized … poor me !!! 🙂
Nice to see Annie Lennox and Lana in there mate.
Cheers, Pete.

Yes Annie Lennox has the voice. Does Rhianna ever wear any clothes do you think? 🙂

I could listen to her voice all day. Haha, I do think she wears clothes. In the video for this song, I think she is supposed to look vulnerable.

Eclectic mix here Vinnie! If I had to choose I think I’d pick Annie Lennox. She has one of those voices that stays in your head.☺

unfortunately, to me it is very difficult to understand due to an accent from south US I guess. ….

That’s true of many songs Marie, I have a hard time understanding it too. Just google the lyrics. 🙂
