I was only wondering the other day about the question posed in the title. On other blogs, I’ve seen pictures of people and formed my own opinions through their writing and style. Though, despite a photo in my about me page, my blog is rather scant on showing any likeness of myself. I think for a long time I was nervous about how my blog was going to be received so didn’t really feature anything personal. In the last few years, my confidence has really grown thanks to all of my splendid supporters. I know I feel comfortable revealing myself, here is a video review I did a while back on the series The Honourable Woman. It was my first and so far only video, but I wanted to share it. Feel free to comment, but be gentle as it was my debut video last year. What do you think of me? Am I at all like you expected?

You are pretty much as I expected, V. I recall the photo from a while back (without the glasses), so I am not at all surprised. The ‘Semi-Scouse’ accent is there, as I suspected. (But I will forgive that, as it’s you!)
Well done for revealing ‘The V’! At least you spared us more of that furry bum…

Mmmm am slightly upset here now.
Point 1: I always imagined you were an American, don’t know why.. so you’re accent really messed my perception about you. But not in a bad or good way, it just messed it up. π
Point 2: Tall… even though you are sitting down, you look quite tall. In my head you were like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas but I blame this on your alias Vinnieh, slight mafioso name going on there.
Point 3: actually no point at all but this was and is a good review of a great show, loved it when it was on.
Anyway as someone mentioned, doesn’t really matter face or no face, u keep on doing great posts and I’ll be happy. But have u thought about more video reviews?

In a way, I like having my own image of people out there. It’s half the fun. So, Vinnie…for now, as much as I’d love to see what you look like, I’ve honestly skipped past your video (my screen showed me just your written bit and then I was lucky to only see the top part of the video/image and zooot, I scrolled passed it while looking away.) because I like the magic behind not knowing the person.
