I am currently on a break, but after hearing of the passing of Bill Paxton at the age of 61, I had to do a post as a tribute to him. Paxton for me was always a fun actor to watch, he had a certain energy that burned across the screen. That is what I will miss the most about him, his very presence was welcomed whenever I saw it. It is a sad day and though he is gone, his memory will still be there through the movies he made. Rest in Peace Bill Paxton. May your spirit live on through your work for many years.

The statement said that he died from complications in surgery. Extremely sad.

It must be devastating for his family and friends. His memory will live on in his films, such as Aliens and A Simple Plan.

I saw this on BBC news this morning. Very young indeed. He played some good parts, and I was surprised they didn’t show one of his films tonight in tribute.

I saw it on CNN earlier today. I’m really bummed man. Too bummed to watch the Oscars.

Such sad, sad news. I loved him in every single movie he was in. The only things I’ve missed was his HBO series Big Love, and his new tv series Training Day.
