Today the iconic Dolly Parton turns 75. For me, she can turn her hand to anything. She’s a talented singer, songwriter, actress and savvy businesswoman. I love her wit and how she doesn’t take herself too seriously. There’s just something so lovable about her. So Happy Birthday Dolly.

She certainly seems impossible to dislike. And she was very good in the film ‘9-5’. I’m not a huge fan of Country music, but I am rather fond of her song ‘Here you Come Again’.

She’s also great in “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” Somehow, she almost makes “Rhinestone” watchable. Dolly Parton never gets credit for what a tremendous actress she is!

My teenage granddaughter loves her. She became acquainted through her streaming series called “Heartstrings.’ I think it is fun that she can still get new fans.
