I just saw the news that Ian Holm has died aged 88. This is sad news as I always welcomed his appearance in movies and he boasts an enviable resume. He leaves behind a wonderful filmography that will keep his memory alive.

One of our best. He played some outstanding roles, and I hope he is remembered for more than being in LOTR, as so many headlines only mention that.
Cheers, Pete.

An awesome actor I always enjoyed watching. My favorite performance of his is in Brazil as Mr. Kurtzmann as Sam Lowry’s boss who feels relieved by Lowry’s loyalty.
