With strong winds and rain battering a lot of England, it for me thinking about movies set during stormy conditions. So I pose that question to you all. Which movies set during storms are your favourites? And yes this is officially my comeback to blogging. Please bear with me as I catch up with everyone.

Twister, and The Day after Tomorrow are ones I best remember.

‘The Perfect Storm’ was an amazing watch.
‘Identity’ is set during a storm.
Then there’s ‘Hard Rain’.

Good call on The Shining and Jurassic Park. Storms add significant atmosphere to them.

I have to say “The Day After Tomorrow” is one of my all time favorites. Set during a time the earth is beginning another ice age. And hurricane blizzards? just LOOK REALLY COOL!!

Jurassic Park, and more recently I watched one called Adrift. The Poseidon adventure is another good one!

Most recently I’d have to say The Lighthouse, which was fantastic. Others that come to mind are Jurassic Park, Twister, and Cast Away.
