As it’s October and Halloween is approaching, I knew I had to do a month largely dedicated to horror movies. There will be some exceptions, but the vast majority of reviews will be of horror. Hope you enjoy.
Have you seen ‘Hellraiser’? (The first one) That’s a good sort of Horror. And ‘Ringu’ of course, got to feature that. 🙂 (The Japanese original of course)
Cheers, Pete.
Glad you are feeling better. Sad that you are doing horror which I dislike. But I know you have followers who love it. I will still read along and wait until next month for another genre or focus on a director of actor.
Mark Kermode did a documentary analysis on it. His point about music being so vital is very true. The score is a big part. He’s a big fan of the genre too.
Considering horror is one of the genres that I particularly enjoy, I am looking forward to these articles. I will be watching “The Nun” soon. I’ll let you know what I think about it!
A lot of my my friends were disappointed with it, saying it was not scary. But I loved it. I agree with them. However, the story was fascinating. It keeps you captivated.

Hellraiser is a really amazing movie. Still makes me uneasy. I’ve not seen the Japanese original.
