Now before anyone asks, no I’m not dying or seriously ill. When I say bucket list, it’s all the things I want to do. It was inspired by a conversation I had with a friend the other day that had nothing to do with death. Anyway, I think we all have those things that we want to do in life. My list hopefully is fun for you:
- I want to visit Brazil for the carnival
- I want to get a body piercing
- I want to purchase an Aston Martin
- I want to meet someone famous
- I want to meet at least one of my followers in person
So what do you think?

Sounds awesome! The body piercing and meeting a fellow blogger sound the easiest to achieve…
What are you planning to pierce…?

Haha, probably my ears. That sounds the least painful.

How famous is famous? I met a few celebs and politicians when I was in the Ambulance Service, but nobody ‘Hollywood’. I did stand next to David Bowie at a film premiere, but we were not introduced…Oh, and I met the Queen, at a presentation. But I wasn’t very impressed by that, being me.
I would never have a piercing, not my thing.
The Rio Carnival would be good, but I might not be able to afford that now. Then again, I had 20 years of Notting Hill Carnivals, and they gave me a headache! 🙂
An Aston Martin sounds nice, but then so would having the money to be able to afford to run it.
I have met one blog follower. Unfortunately, she moved to America the following year, so I doubt we will meet again.
Best wishes, Pete.

Sounds like a plan. I have my ears pierced, it hurt at the time as did a belly button piercing I got, though that’s healed up now, too much hassle. I’ve never met anyone famous unless you count nursing Eddy Kidd after his brain damage. He was a PIA. Would rather have a pimped up transit van than an Aston Martin ( I like to see over hedges 🙂 ) Meeting fellow bloggers might be fun! Then again is anyone the same in real life? 😉

I wanted to get an eyebrow piercing when I was younger, but never did. My partner has one though, so I can live vicariously through him! I think you could be a bit more specific about meeting somebody famous, as there’s many types of fame!

I would love to go to Brazil for the carnival too, but the thing I want even more is to go to Venice for a carnival (I believe it is held sometime in winter). I am generally obsessed with Venetian masks as decorations, etc.
I also think that meeting at least one of your followers in person is not as hard as you may think. The proximity of locations and willingness to do so are key.

What a great list! An Aston Martin makes me think of James Bond!
I published my own Bucket List post a while ago, like, February 2016. I think I need to update it.

If you go to the right horror convention, you might be able to knock three of these off in one weekend. You’re UK based, right?
I don’t know what an Astin Martin is and anything I know about Carnival, I learned from The Simpsons.

I think it’s great to have a bucket list, we only live once and it’s so much out there in the world. It’s great motivation to know what you want to explore

I’ve met a few famous people. Filmmakers Ondi Timoner and Shane Carruth. Actor Jesse Bradford. The late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes of TLC. Bradford Cox of the band Deerhunter. And some of the Atlanta Hawks during the 1980s when I was a kid. That’s it so far…

Great stuff Vinnie and may I suggest for the first two do it sooner rather than later. I’m no ageist, you may enjoy doing these things at 75 but some of us get less adventurous and inhibited as we get older so why put off going to Carnviale now? I say go for it!

Needs more work, it’s a bit short! I wrote my bucket list last year and it has 162 items on it, with a not very impressive 5 now completed (starting a blog was one). But a lot of those are places to visit, it has a lot of travel stuff on it.
An Aston Martin is on my list too, either a Vantage or a DB9, although the man around the corner from me has a very nice BRG Bentley Continental GT, which is also tempting, even if it is a bit of a WAGS car.

I think my top three are having my own book published, to dress up and maybe perform in drag, and to live abroad somewhere for a couple of months.
