I want to wish the amazing Judi Dench a very lovely 83rd birthday. For years she has been a compelling presence on screen; projecting dignity, control and steel in all she does. Plus, you’ve got to love that mellifluous voice of hers. So here’s to the wonderful Dame and all she represents. You are much loved.

Truly an amazing and very impressive actress no matter what role she plays. That’s why I felt she was totally wasted in Murder on the Orient Express where she almost had no role whatsoever.
