A quintessential tough guy on the screen and all around talent, Clint Eastwood has been acting and directing since before many of us can remember. And with him turning 87 today, I thought it good to pay tribute to him. If you’re talking about work ethic, Eastwood’s is pretty enviable as he’s still going strong. There’s a tenacity to Clint Eastwood, in both his acting and directing, he goes for projects that challenge him. And of course, he’s one bad ass dude too in many of his roles. A talented craftsman and icon, Happy Birthday Clint.

I remember a line from the old Crocodile Dundee movie ” You know who that was?!? Clint Eastwood !!! ” 😂 Such a terrific actor that has played so many iconic roles. But where he has really shined is by directing his many wonderful movies: Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River to name but a few. So happy birthday, and here’s hoping that he will get to direct some more great films in the future 😊

I think he’s fine in both capacities, but his directing is his major calling card in my eyes. His films have a certain edge and style to them that I quite like, and he often surprises in his choices. All part of an artist.

87? He looks a lot younger than that. He is a legend and an icon. Plus, I love his approach to directing which I think more directors should do. He doesn’t go for a lot of takes and try to approach everything naturally. Plus, I love the arrangement he has with studios that allow him some creative freedom and not spend too much money.

I think his approach is ideal and it gets quite natural results. Many people could learn from that. Gotta love Eastwood.

One of my first dates with my daughter’s father was a drive-in theater with Clint Eastwood’s “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” I loved Eastwood.

I love his Westerns the most. He is the reason I fell in love with Westerns. The music when he rides his horse into town, the gun slinging.. 😀

Yep, he is one of the Western Kings. Cutting a brooding and strong figure in the genre.
