Sorry to hear that you won’t be strutting your stuff tonight. If it’s any consolation, it is also just another night for us down here. We did exchange cards and gifts this morning though. Mine was a bottle of Merlot that will be necked later!

Enjoy that Merlot Pete. We’ll be moving in a few weeks, it’s the preparation that takes a while. Strutting my stuff, I’m not sure about that.

Not much, money is tight but I cooked my wife dinner, got her a card and dessert and she held me just a little tighter afterward. May sound trite these are the moments I find romantic, when you know you love eachother for real.

It’s an Stephen Moffat show from the early naughties. Kind of like Friends but British and better with a way shorter run. Careers were made by that show. She had never seen it and she’s really enjoying it. Some of the technology is dated now with Tinder and so forth and guys worried about porn collections back when they were VHS tapes but the dialogue is still cracking and funny. Maybe check it out, there’s a classic episode called Melty Man.
