I love the Scream movies. Especially the way they lampoon cliches and are self-aware. It adds another spin on a familiar genre. Below is one of my favourite quotes from the first Scream, which sparks with wit. Click the image to get a better look at the sarcastic quote.

Yeah! Probably the only better one in the 90s. I did an analysis on the franchise looking at what worked and what didn’t. And i’m also doing a horror challenge where people vote for their favorite horror movie of all the decades. I’m sure Scream will win it’s decade.

Scream was great. Maybe I’ll make an effort to rewatch them all this month. I don’t remember the sequels very well, but I even enjoyed the fourth one.

That was so right on. That is what I loved about the film. It played with every cliche and turns it up its nose.

It had some really scary parts but the dark humour gave it that extra touch. I never get bored of watching Scream.

Have you seen the series? I was thinking of getting into it because of my love for the films but from trailers it seems a bit slow.

its perfect! I haven’t seen scream since I was a teenager, I’ll have to give it another spin. When I think about Scream tho, all I can think of is Scary Movie heh

I love the Scream films and how they both made fun of the genre and conjured up good scares. I absolutely hate the Scary Movie series, they are just shit.

You should watch Scream the tv series. Based on the movies. It is great! I absolutely loved the series!
