The discussion of sexy things is nothing new on my site as it is one thing that always gets a good conversation going. I’m asking, in the spirit of upcoming Halloween, are there any horror movies or television shows that are sexy? Is there any particular moment between the bloodshed that the temperature rises? If you can think of any, please let me know.

It has to be one of the sexiest films ever. Just about every actor in it is oozing desire. The whole thing is like watching the foreplay to a porn movie.

I can handle more fantasy horror-ish stuff (if that makes sense) but the horror-horror where I’m scared and can’t sleep and things are just pretty gory, those I just can’t manage. I see someone mentioned True Blood, that’s ok as is Priest, Sleepy Hollow etc – the more toned down, fantasy type movies (maybe not even horror in the true sense of the word).

Hmmm….well, I find Kate Beckinsale extremely sexy in the Underworld movies…even as a woman, I feel she is so stunning in her leathers…especially the first one. And I remember Wir Sind die Nacht (we are the night) having some sexy moments with the female vampires.

Actually, I’m having a bit of a “guilty pleasure” trip at the moment and watching the series Bitten…is quite sexy actually.

It is a fun show actually. Just for mindless watching. Just get hold of the UK/German releases that are the uncut versions.

If I can tweak the genre a bit, I’d plug for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. If not, then there are several sexy characters in Penny Dreadful.

Absolutely! You know how I love American Horror, and I binge-watched Penny Dreadful. I’ve only watched the first three seasons of True Blood, but that’s incredibly well done as well. Despite being raised in Puritan NevEngland, I don’t really mind nudity or sex in a movie or a tv show as long as it flows as part of the show and it’s not just thrown in there for gratuitously or for shock value. Does that make sense?

Yes that makes perfect sense to me Kim. You mean that you don’t mind sex or nudity when it has a purpose in the show or film. After all, nudity and sex are natural things so they aren’t really a big deal.

Well, I haven’t had my coffee yet, but just off the top of my head, Brian DePalma’s Dressed to Kill(1980) stands out.
The were quite a few steamy scenes in that stylish horror/thriller. Have you seen it Vinnie?

I haven’t seen Dressed to Kill yet, but I like the sound of it. I was actually in my last question referring to sexy scenes in AHS and Penny Dreadful.

I really think you’d love Dressed To Kill. As far as AHS and Penny Dreadful are concerned, there are just so many. As you said, given my fondness for Matthew Bomer, I loved every sexy scene he was in. And Penny Dreadful just drips with sensuality, but I particularly loved Josh Hartnett’s scenes. And Eva Green was pretty incredible also.

There was a scene between Bomer and Gaga in Hotel when they were lets just say having a rigorous session that was really hot. Vanessa and Dorian in Penny Dreadful was sexy too.

Ha. Weren’t there a few of those? And how could I forget Dorian! Sheesh. He had so many steamy scenes. Hmm. There was that particular one with Vanessa, before she freaked out and ran away. Then there was the one with him and Ethan at his mansion. And his scenes with Angelique and of course his relationship with Lily. Blimey! He really got around didn’t he? I’m really looking forward to seeing Reeve Carney play Riff Raff in the remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Nina Forever (2015)
This horror film that never got a proper theatrical release (such a shame) is literally about sex. Ever since Rob’s girlfriend died in a car accident, every time he tries to hook up with another girl, his wise-cracking “ex” pops up like a bloody spectre. Ruthlessly sexy, the film somehow makes this incredibly hot and absolutely terrifying. The sex scenes are some of the best we’ve ever seen in any movie and leave us wanting more.

I don’t know. I’m not too familiar with the world of horror but I will also add Embrace of the Vampire as I too had a crush on Alyssa Milano and who didn’t whack off to her tits? I would also add those cheesy sorority slasher movies from the 1980s/1990s as they were good fun.

I generally find thrillers and dramas “sexier” than horrors, but I find any remakes of the Dracula story “sexy”. There is just always something alluring about vampires, maybe because of all their inner need for the possession of a part of human biology, be it blood.

I think the vampire is something of a representation of dark desire and unbridled lust. The act of biting someone’s neck is similar to that of a love bite, though a lot darker and more sinister.

The original story of Dracula is quite sensual. I don’t recall if the original movie version captures this subtext.

Definitely American Horror story and the amazing Penny Dreadful. As for movies, pick any of the Hammer movies, there was boobs and sexiness in all of them.

I like to watch Grey’s Anatomy and just am catching up with Game of Thrones. I liked Bates Motel and the last Lady Gaga season of the American Horror Story. The sexy vampire type scenes were well done, but creepy Kathy Bates stole some scenes! 🙂

For me sexy and horror don’t really mix that well. I can’t be aroused when I’m terrified! That said, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” were pretty awesome. Is that a horror or a thriller?

I had a serious crush on both of them back in the day. And both still look amazing and have only grown as actors. SMG does voices on one of my favourite animated shows — Star Wars Rebels. So does her castmate Freddie Prinze Jr.

Buffy is the bomb. My other favourite show is Charmed and all the ladies were sexy and talented there. Ripley in Alien is my favourite horror heroine ever.

Great post 🙂 Based on all the comments here, I am happy that more people have heard of Ken Russell’s Lair of the White Worm (1988) because that is my top choice too for sexiest horror film ever made. Why? It can be summed up with two words: Amanda Donohue. In other words, her character in the film. Anyway, keep up the great work as always 🙂
