I really enjoyed the response I got to my first lovemaking songs post, so I thought it was only proper to do a follow-up of jams for the bedroom. If it’s music for a sensual mood, check the music out below.

Gonna have to do a Part 3… still no Al Green, buddy! Hahaha!

I promise Part 3 will have Al Green. What did you make of the other songs?

Well, I think the Enigma would have us laughing when those dudes started chanting at us, total distraction haha. I like Sade, though. Great choice. The Suzanne Vega is not one I’d heard before, it’s definitely slinky. And Johnny Hartman, nice one. Love the trumpet.
I’ll bet you could find a nice tune by Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Etta James, too… Also wonder about maybe a Sam and Dave slow tune…
The possibilities are likely endless!

Sade is the queen of bedroom music. I do love me some jazz though.

All the songs are worth listening to but it is between sadness by enigma and I see your face before me by Johnny Hartman. IF I had to pick one it would be sadness by enigma.

Something about Enigma’s music sets a definite atmosphere of mystery and sensuality.

Sade always pushed the buttons, back in the day…
Metallica and songs to make love to in the same post? Hard to believe.
Cheers mate, Pete.

Perhaps some people like some heavy metal in the bedroom. Sade is a guarantee to get pulses racing.

Oh yes! Smooth Operator! I love Sade’s voice although I consider Celine Dion the greatest female singer of all time. Sade’s voice is like honey and fine silk. And Sadeness made it. Great selection!

Sade’s music was invented for making love to, with seductive passion. And Enigma know the right way to craft sexual ambience.

Sadness Part I is in my “Making Love” playlist. Sade “No Ordinary Love” is my preferred song over Smooth Operator. You don’t want a song about a “playa” running in the background and giving her any ideas, ha! The last two would be good for the afterglow phase. 😉

Enigma craft such sensual music. It appears that these playlists are coming in useful for a lot of people.

Interesting choices, I like them. I see them more as mood setters for the wine drinking or dancing rather than to play during the actual act itself.

Mood setters are what I wanted to go for to. What would you listen to when making love?

Stairway to Heaven although I have to put it on repeat otherwise it doesn’t play nearly long enough. 🙂
