Over the last week or so, I’ve been hit by a bad virus that has been a real son of a bitch. But after resting and getting myself together, I’m starting to feel a bit better now. I feel rejuvenated and ready for anything and I wanted to spread this feeling to everyone out there.

Glad you’re feeling better, Vinnie. I had a nasty bug over Christmas itself that I’ve still got a little bit of lingering on, and I’ve seen several other bloggers say similar. What is it about this time of year?!

I’m glad you’re feeling better Vinnie.Keep getting plenty of rest, fluids etc. I hope you’re getting lots of TLC also. After being sick since New Years Eve I finally went to the Drs today and found out I have a massive sinus infection which would explain why I’ve had a non-stop migraine for the past week. Ugh! Is anyone handy with an ice pick? Yes I’m that desperate!😕🤕😔😣😫

I loved Kingsman, so much fun and balls to the wall action. The slightly naughty edge was fun too. I like the idea of that kind of post you mention.

I watched Captains Courageous with Spencer Tracey at the weekend, I know you love your old movies, have you seen it? I LOVED IT!! And I cried!!!
Yeah the ‘up the bum’ scene in Kingsman didn’t bother me at all, I’ve heard some people getting angsty over it but it’s pretty obvious the whole film is supposed to be an OTT spy movie and it was just a joke. I kind of fancied Eggsy haha.
It was a really fun movie, I barely stopped smiling! I LOVED the scene when they were reversing down the road away from the police haha.

I had a feeling you’d mention that scene, I was bothered either. Many people were saying “Why would she ask him for that?” I was just thinking it’s a movie for goodness sake, it’s not real. A lot of girls seem to have a thing for Eggsie I’ve noticed.

I think you should watch Captains Courageous!! 🙂 it was such a lovely old movie. Brilliant!
The reason the princess said about having it’up the bum’ (I think) was because it was an over the top action / spy movie and it was taking the mick! The entire movie was like it, so why people were suddenly so surprised/disgusted by that bit I don’t understand. Look at the ludicrous (brilliant) action scenes. I’m not saying it was a parody movie, of course it wasn’t, but it had elements that took the mick out of James Bond etc.
I’m just not sure Eggsy is old enough for me to be allowed to fancy him?! I had the same problem with Thomas from The Maze Runner LOL.

Completely agree, it was an over the top action movie and bits like that were just taking the mic out of the spy genre. The guy who plays Eggsy is well into his 20’s so I think it’s OK to have a thing for him.

They’re bringing out a sequel in 2017, what’s the betting Colin Firth comes back?!!!
Oh yeah and I loved it at the end when Michael Caine’s character showed his true colours by being a foul mouthed cockney!!! 🙂

Interesting new look mate. Sorry I haven’t stopped by recently, I kinda went into hermit mode after my house got broken into late last year. But after a few weeks I also feel rejuvenated and I’m finally back to writing.
