What a way to get back from a holiday. No sooner had I stepped back onto the blogging world, I received a notification of another award. The fabulous, beautiful and peachy bum loving Emma has nominated me for my first Dragon’s Loyalty Award. I am greatly honored to be receiving this and I feel so happy I could run down the street with no clothes on.
So now that I’ve thanked the wonderful Senorita for her award I will complete the winning process of acceptance. First, here are seven interesting facts about me.
- I love the feeling of breaking in a new pair of shoes.
- I don’t believe in lying unless it is for a very good reason.
- No part of my body is pierced yet, that may change in the future.
- My guilty pleasure on TV is Geordie Shore.
- I have often been told I’m good at doing impressions of film characters.
- The one thing that I hate most is prejudice, I feel there is no need to treat someone unfairly simply because of differences. We are all different in our own way and we all deserve the right to be treat equally.
- I will watch most sports on TV, but I find Golf boring.
Now here are my amazing nominees. I may be bending the rules here, but I follow so many blogs and I don’t want to leave anyone out. Instead of 15, I’ll do 5.
Thanks amazing Emma for this award.

As you might imagine, being an ‘old grump’, I cannot abide any so-called reality TV. Made In Chelsea, Geordie Shore, Big Brother, I’m A Celebrity, and all the others: it is just mind-numbing rubbish from where I sit.
Still, I was young once, so I understand the appeal of ‘generational TV’. I just can’t stand it.

Made in Chelsea is my ultimate favourite because I’ve watched it since series 1 and have some nostalgia for it. Especially the dastardly Spencer! I like the way they take the mickey out of themselves as well, especially in the End of Season party.
TOWIE I really don’t like – I never watch that. I live in Essex myself and can’t stand the way we’re represented haha, I live in the middle of fields and garden centres and tea rooms! I’ve never been to the Sugar Hut and NEVER will. Plus it’s just shit and boring.
Geordie Shore is probably the most entertaining, it’s different to both the above shows as it has more of a real ‘Big Brother’ feel and no storylines. It’s outrageous – they show shagging and everything lol. The people grow on you the more you start to watch it.
P.S Hi Alex! Hope you don’t mind me getting involved haha.

Made in Chelsea is one of my guiltiest pleasures haha! I’ll watch some things on and off but I must confess I’ve never missed an episode of MIC!!!! (and never will!)
I’ve not seen The Valleys either but I’m aware of its existence haha. A lot of debauchery but not even in a FUN way! Just….no.
I also hate TOWIE.

The level of debauchery on The Valleys is actually disgusting. It’s not fun and over the top it’s just grim to the point where you feel like you need a bath after watching it.

I know! Do you ever watch Russell Howard? Just that “shuuuuuuut uuuup” clip he used to show of one of them, before saying “fuck off” haha! I live in Essex as well and I hate the way its portrayed. Everyone thinks we live in Brentwood!!!!! I grew up on a farm and I’ve never had a spray tan or eyelashes glued on….in. my. life lol
That must be pretty bad then!! There’s been a few Geordie Shore’s I’ve felt a bit unclean after watching. I think I’ll avoid The Valleys!!! There has to be a certain amount of humour and likable people, it can’t just be a load of sex and swearing and still be decent.
Still….I do love watching a bit of shit and I love it when other people don’t mind admitting it too! 🙂

I lived in Chelmsford for 6 years! I now live in Woodham Ferrers which is about 20 minutes from Chelmsford! Just hearing someone mention it on WordPress made me smile so much!!!!! It’s still my ‘go to town’ for shopping and dinner etc! 🙂
OH!!!!!!!! Okay I see. That’s a different level to what I was even expecting!!! I think they need a word with themselves….and Jeremy Kyle.

Ahh! I feel all unnecessarily excited! Just think it’s so cool.
Chelmo is a lovely place to live, I love Hylands Park and there’s so many shops and restaurants. Where I live now there’s an Asda, a fish & chip shop and a Toby carvery. Woo! Haha. I do miss the buzz and the choice in Chelmsford.
The only bad thing about the place is the amount of cars and the build-up of traffic. I moved closer to work because my morning commute in the car was driving me to high blood pressure!!!

My mother-in-law and brother-in-law both work at Anglia Ruskin. One of my biggest fears about moving there is that it’s too quiet! Hahahahaha! But then I’ve never lived outside a major city so anything short of total mayhem seems quiet to me.

I’m not sure how it will compare after major cities. Probably a tad quiet! As you saw earlier I lived on a farm growing up in the middle of absolutely fucking nowhere. Our bus service wasn’t daily, it was weekly…!
So Chelmsford always seemed pretty busy to me haha! There’s always stuff going on though. Honestly you should see where I am now. I actually bought a BIRD WATCHING book…….(I haven’t told anyone else)
Total mayhem sounds fun and a bit scary! I’ve always been a bit overwhelmed even in London if I’m honest!
