As I’m a huge fan of James Bond, I thought I’d do another post about another aspects of the films. This time it is on the many women who have graced the screen during the series, they are collectively the Bond Girls. A vast array of beautiful women have either romanced, aided and sometimes turned against Bond throughout the films. So have a think, who is your favourite Bond girl from the series?

Right now I have to say Tracy in On Her Majesty Secret Service.
She was clever, beautiful, resourceful and a true equal for Bond.

I agree, Tracy was Bond’s equal, I thought Diana Rigg was great in the part.

What a difficult choice ! My first thought was Ursula Andress (Honey Ryder – “Dr. No”) but upon further reflection I have concluded that Maud Adams (Andrea Anders – “Man With the Golden Gun”)(Octopussy – “Octopussy”) was my favourite Bond Girl.

For me it’s quite recent one – Vesper Lynd – played by Eva Green in Casino Royale.

Tracy, hands down. I’ve had a thing for Diana Rigg ever since I first saw her in The Avengers way back when. 🙂

Tatiana Romanova from FRWL for me based on looks alone, but as a character it would have to be either Vesper Lynd (Eva Green and not Ursula Andress), Solitaire, or Melina Havelock.
Both Fiona Volpe and Xenia Onatopp deserve mentions as the best bad Bond girls.

I’m going to have to go with the original Ursula Andress in Dr. No.
Also I’m quite partial to Michelle Yeoh. Love me an ass kicking chick who can more than handle herself.

Definitely Halle Berry from ”Die Another Day”. Her sex-appeal and exotic good looks make her a perfect bond girl in my book!

This would and first of all, automatically would have to be Eva Green as Vesper Lynd. I was about 12,13,14 when I first saw her and her acting performance and Casino Royale really made an impact. I never regret for my cousin for inviting me!!! Secondly would be Pussy Galore. The name, the humor. And…. I would have to add Eve Moneypenny. Even though I don’t consider her strictly a Bond girl because she has a desk job, works at MI6, and during the pretitles she can be seen in action, then for me, she can definitely be more of an assist to Bond. Berenice Marlowe’s as Severine. Although brief, she brought an enigmatic beauty and that mystery.

I’m a huge fan of Eva Green or as some girls say “a girl crush”. She can literally nail every character that she’s given, bring some many layers. Funny how Eva Green, Ruth Wilson and Natalie Dormer are almost in the same age range and can rock the big screen!

Exactly, Green is a master of expressing such deep emotions with the most subtle things such as a slight smile, blink of her eyes or turn of her head.

Exactly. Pure brilliance!! Have you seen Ruth Wilson in Luther? I know I’m changing the themes here, but, I must have to ask? The same with Natalie Dormer. I have yet to watch her in Hunger Games 2, but I prefer watching her in Elementary.

Yeah, Ruth Wilson is great in Luther. I haven’t seen Dormer in that much but I remember her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in The Tudors.

I have yet to sat down and watch it properly, but in the very few episodes that I’ve seen Natalie in Elementary, she’s brilliant. I like the cold, hearted, mysterious type of characters in women.
